Yay another LIST. Seems these comme around every week.... weird. Anyway, since I'm back in Oregon I can start going to my comic shop, Heroe's Haven, once again. Unfortunately, I have all my comics ordered up to December, so I haven't remade my pull list yet. That doesn't affect these posts, though, so I'll get on with it.

DC

Midnighter #1

Yet another of the Wildstorm Universe Books. Not much to say other than I've read Worldstorm and I'm very excited about these.

Marvel

Incredible Hulk #100

Ya know, I'm so used to Hulk being on a different planet that I don't know if I want him to come back to Earth. Of course, when he does eventually come back, I look forward to him getting his revenge on the good heroes that sent him into space in the first place.

Iredeemable Ant-Man #2

I haven't read #1 yet, so I can't comment on the book so far, but I have much faith in this creative team. Phil Hester's art is perfect for comics, and a perfect fit for Robert Kirkman's style of writing. Robert Kirkman is the author of Invincible, which is easily the best superhero book on the market today, so I have no worries. Will be good stuff.

Uncanny X-Men #480

The cover says it all. Vulcan versus Gladiator. In Space!

Thoughts

Very small week this week. Who knows how big next week will be. I don't think the weeks in November will get quite as big as some of October's. We shall see.

The LIST For Oct. 25

Picking up from where I left off in my main blog, minus a few weeks in between. I decided to move this to it's own blog so I can continue to make the posts without it filling up the main blog. I am WAY behind on my reading, so chances are I wont have read the previous issues to most of these comics. I'm starting to get through my pile, though.

Here's the LIST:

Dark Horse

Conan & The Songs Of The Dead #4 (Of 5)

I think I said this with the last issue that came out (which needs to be read), but this is my favorite of the Conan miniseries so far. I really like the system of having one main ongoing series, and having miniseries come out once and a while telling stories that take place in a different time or setting. I know this is common practice, but Conan does really well with it.

DC

Boys #4

The book that is meant to out Preacher Preacher. Not sure if it can do that, as Preacher is my favorite comic of all, but this has shown a lot of promise. I've read the first two issues and they were a joy to read. I anticipate staying with this for the whole run. Plus, any comic where the title page includes a hairy ass and the words "Suck it!" is a winner in my book.

Deathblow #1

Another of the Wildstorm Universe relaunches. I know next to nothing about the WU, and this character, but that makes it fun. I love discovering new characters, new to me at least. With the news that WildCATS #2 is delayed until MARCH, I'm hoping the other titles down follow suit. Poor Jim Lee, WildCATS is the flagship title too. That will put a stain on the whole launch as far as the public view goes, no matter how good the books are.

Jack Of Fables #4

To think I almost skipped this book. Stupid me, I should know that anything related to Fables is good. ANYTHING. Speaking of, I need to buy 1,001 Nights of Snowfall next time in town.

Secret Six #5 (Of 6)

I wish this was an ongoing title. Though I'd prefer a different artist, as the art in this one gets a little sloppy. It doesn't really hurt the book though, as the writing is brilliant. I can't really remember whats going on, so I'll need to go through and refresh myself.

Seven Soldiers #1

Wow. I think that was supposed to come out last year. The finale to an epic, complicated, multi arc story. Good thing we had to wait over a year to find out how it ends. I can barely remember most of it.

Wetworks #2

Still haven't read the first issue, so not much to say other than I'm looking forward to it.

Thoughts

No Marvel comics this week. That doesn't happen so often anymore. I think i'm still about 40 comics behind... so I have a lot of reading to do.
